ABOUT THE
MIDWEST MOTORIZED BANDITS
"Motorized Bandits" was a term coined back in the 1930s
by Chicago newspapers as they reported on the exploits
of famous criminals, such as John Dillinger,
because they committed their crimes with their fast cars
and traveled from city to city during
the the great Mid-West Crime Wave.
MIDWEST MOTORIZED BANDITS began in 2002
when several members of the Wadell Land & Cattle Company (an 1880s-Old West Living History club)
came together to portray the 1930s era of Prohibition, John Dillinger, Al Capone and others.
As interest grew with other members of the Wadell Land &Cattle Company,
the group would meet once a year and re-enact the lively gangster era.

Several members of the group also portray the World War II  time period.

Midwest Motorized Bandits/Wadell Land & Cattle Company originated as a collective group of people
with a common interest in portraying characters of the eras of the 1880s/Old West through World War II.

They have over 30 years experience as Living Historians and have performed throughout the Midwest.
Through intense study of the time period and paying attention to detail,
each member brings historical and ficticious characters to life.
Improvisation is their specialty and members enjoy continuing to portray their characters
even after "the show" is over, offering a unique experience to their audience.
